This is especially important if your treatment requires a collaborative approach between your dentist, Dr. Botsford, and sometimes other specialists, such as an oral surgeon or periodontist.

Accommodating Care
You won't have to go out of your way to make it to appointments. Our flexible scheduling-including early morning and late afternoon appointments-means you can visit our Medford office when it's convenient for your family.
When you walk into our office, you may notice that we have no TVs or screens in our waiting room. We designed our space to be calm, inviting, homey, and warm. You'll find a few of Dr. Botsford's favorite books about Oregon and architecture, fun toys for kids to engage with (oh, the nostalgia an Etch-a-Sketch brings!), and complimentary WiFi.
Dental anxiety keeps many people away from the orthodontist, and we understand why! It can feel scary coming to an orthodontic office and seeing all of the tools and equipment for the first time. At Botsford Family Orthodontics, we use the Dental Pain Eraser™ to eliminate oral pain during treatment and make every visit as comfortable as possible.
Modern Technology
Orthodontics is always changing, and our team is committed to staying ahead of the game. Our whole team regularly attends continuing education courses. Nationally, Dr. Botsford attends orthodontics conferences and actively participates in several study clubs.
Locally, we're active members of the Rogue Excellence Dental Club (REDC), a Seattle Study Club® network affiliate. Our chapter is made up of approximately 20 local dentists and specialists in our Rogue Valley. That means that we are constantly learning and pushing ourselves to provide you with the best care.
Gone are the days of goopy, uncomfortable impressions or molds of your teeth. We use a digital scanner because it's more comfortable for you and provides us with the most accurate image of your teeth. We use 3D-printed models of your teeth to customize every aspect of your treatment.
We also utilize digital treatment planning software, like KLOwen Stride, to provide you with customized braces and aligners. Dr. Botsford plans these treatments digitally (and meticulously!) before your braces or aligners are even delivered. Check out our Treatments tab to learn more.
Our Dental Pain Eraser™ is a modern tool to ease the pain of your orthodontic treatment. You won’t have to worry about uncomfortable shots or dizzying gas—instead, this hand-held device uses electric energy to block the pain signals from your nerves.
Convenient Options
You deserve the best, customized care for your smile. Dr. Botsford utilizes cutting-edge technology to offer a number of different treatment modalities, including metal or clear braces on the front of your teeth, braces on the back of your teeth, and clear aligners. We also offer extra services like teeth whitening, so you'll have everything you need for a smile you'll love.
Our priority is to make sure you love your results. We offer a Guarantee My Smile program for any former patients treated at Botsford Family Orthodontics that offers re-treatment at a reduced monthly maintenance fee if you are unhappy with your smile.
We also offer a Retainers for Life Program, which provides up to four retainers per year (for the life of the Botsford Family Orthodontics practice) for a one-time fee per retainer. Whether you broke or lost your retainer, or perhaps your dog got a hold of it, you can rest easy knowing a replacement retainer is at your fingertips!
